VROOM!

Highlighting a selection of short films from the National Film Board (NFB) collection, as well as the 80s cult classic Ghostbusters, the experience used special effects and multimedia content to add a touch of magic to the traditional drive-in experience. Participants were invited to come dressed in costume, and to stop by the Vroom-O-Maton, an interactive photo booth that placed cars and visitors right into the scene, and gave them a shareable souvenir.

PANDORA GARDEN

A playful digitally interactive butterfly garden installation, where if you stop for a minute to wonder, digital butterflies land on you.

LIGHT VOLUME

A sculptural installation that spans across 2-storey of Bloomberg’s flagship West Coast Tech Hub in San Francisco. The content consists of data visualizations of Bloomberg’s real time terminal data.

FLOW

Inspired by the movement of water, flowing colors evoke the power of individual droplets that come together to form a stream. This dynamic lighting installation evolves throughout the day and night, with light moving toward the sky in a reverse waterfall.

GOOGLE MADE WITH CODE

Interactive installations created for Google “Made with Code” to introduce teenage girls to coding in a fun and interactive way.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME

An immersive experience that seamlessly blends the heritage of college football with cutting-edge technology, the “Why We Love College Football” media wall is an interactive gallery that showcases the full spectrum of the sport from its inception.

The media wall – the centerpiece exhibit for the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta as a storytelling device for fans –is an expansive 52-foot long, multitouch interactive canvas, which sets the stage for an exciting visit to the Hall of Fame. The custom designed installation provides visitors a unique, playful, and highly engaging tour, with access to 765 NCAA College Football teams at their fingertips.

ANIMAL RACE

Visitors select which animal they would like to compete against, and they engage in a short run. The animation of the chosen animal is projected along the the screen, running and competing with them side-by-side in real time.

MUSIKA!

Various musical instruments are available for the public to play: every instrument, when played triggers a variety of live visuals. These interactive kiosks offer people an opportunity to play and explore the visual lexicon of the correlation between sound and light. Commissioned by the EYEO Festival.

+NATURE

+Nature is a site-responsive artwork conceived and executed during the Convergence Lab – an artist-in-residency at BANFF – in the weeks leading up to Convergence-the International Summit on Art and Technology. Designed for public interaction, it mutated over the course of three days, responding to the rhythms of nature and participation from the summit audience.

TREE OF CHANGES

The Tree of Changes is an interactive sculpture that captures, aggregates and visualizes the individual and cumulative thoughts, wishes and sentiments of people. Commissioned and partially funded by Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and the City of San Francisco for the Market Street Prototyping Festival, it was installed at the Embarcadero (San Francisco) andat Bay Area’s Maker Faire (San Mateo).
