As part of the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation, the Ottawa 2017 Bureau and Moment Factory co-produced an immersive 3-floor underground interactive multimedia installation in a subway station in construction–what will become the Lyon station of Ottawa’s new Light Rail Transit (LRT) system.

Experience

A fusion of lighting, video projections, original music, and interactivity transports visitors on an immersive experience in a 3-floor lightweight rail transit station still under construction. Visitors begin their journey in an abandoned cinema, where they scan the “frequency” of their body in 3D and descend underground. During the experience, visitors choose which path to take, watch their own image passing by aboard the “Invisible Train”the show’s finaleand even download their frequency post-show.
