Projection mapping on a 30ft. high snow sculpture carved in occasion of the Sapporo Snow Sculpture Festival in Japan.
The legend of Ainu Rakkuru’s birth–the birth of man–sparks from the love between Princess Chikisani and the Thunder God. The legend evokes the rise of Ainu Rakkuru’s sense of responsibility and destiny to maintain the Ainu land in harmony and peace.
The sculpture was inaugurated and blessed with a ceremony by the Ainu, the indigenous people of Japan.
